Baby Shower in USA

Went to a baby shower today and then realized ... its so nice .. we are all here with not much family  and with very less knowledge of traditions ... still we all try to support each other some times just make our own traditions dosent matter which part of India we belong to, just trying  to celebrate every little reason we can find.

Hindi-Bindi Club

This was the last book I read and really enjoyed ... its a novel with recipes. I will recommend this book and its such nicely written about mothers and daughters doesn't matter if  u are Indian or not  .. three generations  Indian-Immigrant-American. Since we are Immigrants neither Indian nor American... some where in the middle. Just to be on the lighter side some one once said we are so very Indians and miss India so much but in US and as soon as we reach India we are so very Americans. lol

If you are confident you are beautiful

Hi everyone we are all human and have flaws. Even if your physical appearance, unique personality or social skills aren't what we wish they were, that doesn't have to stop you from being confident. Confidence translated literally from Latin means "to have faith in oneself". You are beautiful inside and out so you should love yourself unconditionally. Lets see how everyone likes to believe in themselves. Everyone might have a way of making themselves feel special... if not lets find a ways to pamper ourselves mentally and emotionally. I will encourage everyone to say something even if its a one liner or a song that gives gives you high spirits.

How to Embrace Your Inner Child

It's no surprise that a UCLA study documented what we already assumed: On average, at age 5 we engage in creative tasks 98 times a day, laugh 113 times and ask 65 questions. By age 44, the numbers fade to two creative tasks a day, 11 laughs and six questions.

I want you to decide to reverse the slide in these numbers in your daily life. A good place to start is by asking questions. Questions will lead you to use your curiosity, rethink what you're doing and find new ideas. And asking questions won't take a lot of time—you can ask yourself questions wherever you are: in the shower, at breakfast, driving your car or commuting home on the subway, bus or train.
